North County is booming with great new options for homebuyers. From Del Mar to Fallbrook, buyers will find everything from custom estates to affordable townhomes. Below is the first of a two-part alphabetical listing of what’s available in the new-home market.
Alliance Development is building 14 luxury townhomes at Village 201, a block from the beach and near downtown Carlsbad Village. Seven floor plans will be offered ranging from 1,688-2,138 square feet. Homes will have two or three bedrooms and up to 3.5 baths. Most plans will have a loft and/or den or office plus a two-car garage. Construction is expected to be complete in September. CalAtlantic Homes has a variety of homes available in 10 neighborhoods in Del Sur, from the townhomes at Garretson to exclusive, single-family homes at The Estates. The latest addition is the Villas at Auberge, a collection of single-family, courtyard- style homes in a gated community for those 55 and older. Homes are offered in 12 different floor plans and range in size from 1,604-2,082 square feet with two or three bedrooms, plus a den or a loft. Visit CalAtlanticHomes.com for more information.
California West is offering 41 custom-inspired residences at Upper Cielo in Rancho Santa Fe. The gated community occupies one of the highest vantage points along the San Diego coast. Southern Preserve, also by California West is a community of 49 homes in La Costa. Floor plans include multigenerational and casita options. Davidson Communities also has a number of new projects this year. The Estates at San Elijo Hills in San Marcos, a community of 58 single-family homes with plans ranging from 4,600-5,588 square feet, is under construction with the opening scheduled for late summer or early fall. Also under construction is Encinitas Enclave in Encinitas, a development of 19 single-family homes with plans ranging from 3,255-5,168 square feet. Completion is scheduled for late this year or early next year. In Bonsall, Davidson at Bonsall will include 93 single-family homes with plans ranging from 2,564-3,553 square feet. D.R. Horton is opening two new communities in San Marcos: Caprice and Setina at Mission Grove. Both have attached and detached condominium designs ranging in size from 1,685-2,190 square feet. The two- and three-story homes, which come in six different floor plans, include three to four bedrooms, 2.5 to 3.5 baths and attached garages. Prices start in the mid $400,000s. Five new single-family communities and two attached neighborhoods by D.R. Horton will open at Horse Creek Ridge in Fallbrook. Horse Creek Ridge is a new master-planned community with equestrian terrain and eight parks including an 8.5-acre sports park.
