Meet the Mullins Family, Southern Preserve Residents
"My husband Patrick and I met while going to graduate school. We later married and settled down in Los Angeles where we both worked in the Information Technology field. On the weekends, we would visit San Diego to enjoy the warm weather, the nice restaurants, and the friendly atmosphere of the region. When our daughter Cassidy was born, we decided to make the permanent move to San Diego and call North County our home.
We had lived in many places in different cities, but our new house at Southern Preserve is the best home that we’ve ever owned. What made Southern Preserve standout when we were searching for our dream home was the location of the development. Other inspiring qualities such as its architecture, the well-designed outdoor living space, and the general feel of the homes also attracted us to this new community. We were extremely pleased with Southern Preserve’s customer service as well. From the first day we walked into the model home, to the day we received the key to our own home, Sales Consultant Gale Kavanaugh had gone above and beyond in helping us with the entire process. The experience was fun for the whole family.
We were also delighted to find out that we could work with an expert design team to customize various features to create a unique and functional space for us. Lori Haggart, a designer at California West, helped make our home perfect for doing the things we love, whether it’s entertaining indoors or barbecuing outside. Now every part of our home is a reflection of our personality. Since we’ve moved in, we added a beautiful pool and spa, a fire pit, and a putting green to make it fit our active and fun-loving lifestyle.
Our favorite thing about Southern Preserve is the location. It sits peacefully by the preserve with views of nature, yet just a minute away, you get all the conveniences of the city. Waking up every morning in our new home is a dream come true. We often have to pinch ourselves, that we got very lucky to have found Southern Preserve and made it our forever home." -Christina Mullins
