New homes for sale in North County

From large developments to single custom homes, builders are bringing a variety of new homes to the market, especially in North County. Completion of Village 201, by Alliance Development, is expected by September. The 14 ocean-view townhomes in Carlsbad are a block from the beach. Floor plans range from 1,705-2,232 square feet with up to three bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and a loft and/or a den or an office. The expected sales release date is the end of June. For more information, go to all-dev.com/village-201.Also in Carlsbad, Cornerstone Communities had just broken ground at Agave, one of four neighborhoods in the 636-home community at The Preserve in Carlsbad. Agave is the first village within The Preserve, which is adjacent to the Buena Vista Creek Ecological Reserve. It will comprise 88 two-story townhomes ranging from 1,420 to nearly 1,700 square feet with three bedrooms, 2.5 baths, full garages and fenced yards. Cornerstone is also developing Maravilla, Esperanza and Tesoro at Vista del Sur, 363 homes in south San Diego; Aventine, Monterra, Cambria and Estancia, 235 homes in Otay; and Brisas, Lucero and Altura at Pacific Ridge, 314 homes in Oceanside. California West Communities is offering homes in two neighborhoods. Southern Preserve includes 49 homes in La Costa. The one- and two-story homes range up to six bedrooms, 6.5 baths and are priced from the high $1.2 millions. Each floor plan includes a covered outdoor living area. California West’s Upper Cielo comprises 41 custom-inspired homes at the top of Cielo in Rancho Santa Fe. These homes are at some of the highest vantage points along the San Diego coast, providing sweeping views both to the east and the west. Just two homes remain at Enclave Rancho Santa Fe, a neighborhood of 13 homes by Davidson Communities. The houses, with views of the golf course at The Crosby, have floor plans ranging up to approximately 3,880 square feet. Two more neighborhoods will be coming soon from Davidson Communities. The Estates at San Elijo Hills in San Marcos features 58 single-family detached homes with plans ranging from 4,600-5,588 square feet. Three model homes are now under construction with the opening scheduled for late summer or early fall. The Enclave in Encinitas will have 19 single-family detached homes with plans ranging from 3,255-5,168 square feet. Completion of those homes is expected late this year or early next year. Hallmark Communities offers homes in Carmel Valley, Encinitas, Leucadia and Oceanside. Developments include Meadowood, nine homes in Pacific Highlands Ranch with three floor plans from 2,670-3,050 square feet; Bracero 3, three four-bedroom, ocean-view houses on large lots in Encinitas ranging from 4,400-4,900 square feet; Eolus 4, four one- or two-story homes with four or five bedrooms on large lots west of Interstate 5 in Leucadia; and 414 Cleveland in Oceanside, modern two-bedroom townhomes close to the beach. KirE Builders is now selling 45 townhomes at Nickel Creek in Ramona, priced from $309,990. The homes range from 1,044-1,559 square feet with two or three bedrooms and an attached garage.

McCullough Design Development is putting the finishing touches on one of the final homes at the Seascape Development in Encinitas. This single-level home is 4,838 square feet with four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms and is priced in the low $2 millions. For more information, visit mddhomes.com.

Zephyr Communities has a number of new homes available in three neighborhoods. Aura is a gated community of 30 tri-level townhomes in Mira Mesa priced from $554,990. The modern residences are offered in three floor plans, ranging from 1,814-2,017 square feet, and include four bedrooms, 3.5 baths, two-car attached garages and private balconies.
